4. Tighten:
-Bolt (Damper rod)
Use the Damper Rod Holder
CD
and T-
Handle
@
to lock the damper rod.
Damper Rod Holder:
PIN YM-33256
T-Handle:
PIN YM-01326
Bolt (Damper Rod):
30 Nm (3.0 m.kg, 22 ft·lb)
Use LOCTITE®.

5. Install:
-Oil seal (New)
CD
NOTE: _
- Apply the lithium soap base grease onto the oil
seal lip before installing the oil seal.
-Be sure oil seal numbered side face upward.
-Take care not to damage the oil seal lip.
-Always use new oil seal.
6. Press the fork oil seal into the inner tube with
Fork Seal Driver

and Adapter
@.
