2. Install:
• Special washer

Align the projection

on special washer plate
with the slot

on cover.
3. Install:
• Yoke assembly
NOTE: _
Align the match marks
CD
on the bracket with
the match marks

on the housing.
Installation
Reverse the removal procedure.
Note the following points.
1. Apply:
• Lithium soap base grease
To O-ring.
2. Install:
• Starter motor
• Engine stay
NOTE: _
Pass the starter motor lead
CD
and ground lead
~
inside the engine stay as shown.

Screw (Starter Motor):
I--_~'"
7 Nm (0.7 m.kg, 5.1 ft·lb)
Bolt (Engine
St~y):
33 Nm (3.3 m.kg, 24 ft.lb)
