out using a sandpaper

NOTE: _
Sand the commutator outer surface lightly and
evenly.
4. Measure:
- Commutator diameter

5. Measure:
-Mica undercut

mica using a
hacksaw blade.

NOTE: _
The mica insulation of the commutator must be
undercut to ensure proper operation of the com-
mutator.
