3. Hook tabs A and B in the slots on the Multiline
Terminal as shown in
AP(A)/AP(R)-R Unit to the DTH/DTR Multiline
Terminal, and press down until the unit clicks into
place.

4. Close the base plate, and snap the cover in place.
5. Install the ferrite core (provided with either Unit)
about 2 inches from the line cord plug as shown in
Figure 8-55 Installing Ferrite
6. Connect the line cord to the unit. Limit the cable
length from the AP(A)/AP(R)-R Unit to the Single
Line Telephone to a maximum of 50 feet.
