Installing the External Microphone

An external microphone can be installed on the HFU-U
Unit. These instructions apply to the external microphone
obtained from NEC. This microphone is equipped with a
mute button.

1. Plug the microphone cord into the jack on the
HFU-U Unit as shown in
Microphone to a Multiline
The microphone should be at least one foot away
from the Multiline Terminal, but not more than three
feet.
