Learn how to replace the electronic components in the projector.

Removing the RS232 connector

The RS232 connector can provide a port to contral the projector.
1. Remove the top cover.

2. Remove the main board and I/O board.

3. Remove the harnesses from the clips.
4. On the I/O cover, remove the two hex screws with a M3 socket driver.
5. Remove the RS232 connector.
6. Replace the RS232 connector.
7. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Removing the thermal switch

The thermal switch prevents the projector from operating when the temperature of engine is
overheated.
