LaserFlow Ex Velocity – The LaserFlow Ex Velocity options
are active only when the Positive Velocity option is "false".
Select the "Focus Downstream" check box when the LaserFlow
Ex sensor is pointed downstream.
Steep Slope LaserFlow Ex Focusing – If the sensor is on a
slope greater than 1%, select the "Enable Slope Setting" check
box. By default, this option is disabled.
If the sensor is parallel to the channel slope, select "Parallel to
Channel Slope". Measure from the front of the sensor carrier to
the bottom of the channel. Then measure from the back of the
sensor carrier to the bottom of the channel. Ensure the distance
is equal. Adjust the sensor carrier as necessary. See Figure 4-11.
By default, this option is enabled.
If the slope of the pipe is known, mount the sensor level with the
Earth, using the bubble level mounted on the top of the sensor
and then enter the Slope Percentage in the field. A positive
slope value is used when the laser beam is pointed upstream. See
Figure 4-12. By default, this option is disabled.
