IN-PHASE transition

IN-PHASE transition aims to perform the transfer when the two sources are in synchronism.
The parameters relating to synchronism can be defined in menu P08. As soon as the state of
synchronism has been attained, the interlock time of the breakers (P07.n.02) is ignored, thus
reducing the transfer time to a minimum.
The ATC opens one breaker first, before the other can be closed. The ATC waits for the
feedback signal of the breakers during the transfer. Parallel network operation is therefore
not present. The time the ATC waits for the state of synchronism can be set. If the state is
not attained, transfer takes place with open transition. The interlock time of the breakers is
therefore respected once again. IN-PHASE transition cannot be used for application B: 2S-
1T-PL.
Note:
Breakers with synchronizable motor operators should be used for IN-PHASE transition.
