User alarms UAx

The user can define up to 8 programmable alarms (UA1...UA8).
For each alarm, the following can be specified:
● The source, i.e. the condition that triggers the alarm. The following functions can be used
as alarm sources:
– LIMx: A user defined limit threshold is undershot or exceeded. You can find more
– INPx: An input signal triggers the alarm
– OUTx: An activated output acts as the alarm source
– REMx: Using a remote variable, the alarm can be activated / deactivated via Modbus
– TIMx: The alarm is triggered on expiry of a timer (for more information, refer to Timer
● Text of the message that must appear on the display
● The features of the alarm (see chapter on Alarms (Page 61))
The setting is made via the menu P21 – User Alarms (Page 184)
5.1.7

Automatic test

The automatic test is a regular test of the functionality of the application. This is done at
specific intervals. The interval can be set as required.
To do this, the ATC must be in the automatic mode and the function must be activated
accordingly. The typical application is to check the efficiency of a generating set used as an
emergency power source.
The following can be selected:
● Weekday of test
● Time of day (hours / minutes)
● Duration of the test
● Transfer (without load transfer to alternative source, with load transfer, with load
simulation)
