Description
Description of breaker
- This parameter enables the user to define any
name for the breaker.
This name then appears on the Overview display
page.
Interlocking time Source 1/2
– Delay that elapses between the disconnection of
breaker BRK 1/2 and the opening command for
breaker BRK 2/1.
Maximum delay for breaker control
(Alarm delay A03 – A04)
- If a breaker is not in the correct position within
this time following an ON or OFF command, alarm
A03 or A04 is triggered.
The parameter only functions if the status inputs
are correspondingly connected and wired.
For more detailed information on the alarms, see
chapter Alarms (Page 61).
Opening pulse duration
– Minimum duration of an opening command
pulse. For this purpose, the parameter P08.01
must be set to the Pulse mode (Brk. Pul.)
In the application using breakers with motor oper-
ators, a sufficiently long time must be set in order
to enable the complete charging of the springs.
This time is also taken into consideration when
operating in the continuous signal mode.
Duration of closing pulse
– Duration of the closing command pulse.
Continuous command in the OFF mode
– This specifies the behavior of the open-
ing/closing command outputs in the continuous
signal mode (P08.01 to Brk. Cont.), if the
ATC6500 is in the OFF mode.
OFF – Opens the command outputs
NOC – Leaves the outputs unchanged
Switch on failure to close
- When this parameter is enabled and the breaker
does not close successfully (no feedback on
presence of opening command), not only the
corresponding feedback alarm (A03 or A04) is
triggered, but transfer to the secondary source is
also controlled.
Duration of opening pulse of undervoltage release
– Duration of the disabling pulse of the undervolt-
age release for the opening of the switching de-
vices.
