Troubleshooting a Download
In the event of a low network signal, it is possible for an upgrade download to time
out. If this occurs, you will see a screen similar to the image below. Select Download
and the process will continue from where it stalled:
If this continues to happen, move your Genesis Touch to a location by a window, a
higher floor, or near an exterior wall if possible. Ensure your tablet is plugged into a
power source with the charger that came with your tablet. Contact customer ser-
vice if you continue to have connection problems.
Android™ Operating System Software Upgrades
A new Genesis Touch is shipped with the latest version of the Android™ operating
system software (OS) installed. Upgrades to the Android™ OS may be periodically
released as a third-party upgrades after you have received your tablet.
It is recommended to defer these upgrades until Life Care Solutions approves the
upgrade and tests for Genesis Touch software compatibility. You may use the fol-
lowing chart to determine if you are eligible to upgrade Android™. To identify your
Android™ version number, check the About screen. If an upgrade is indicated, refer
to upgrade instructions unique to your monitor at:
