Spoken Vitals
Select the check box next to the Spoken Vitals label to turn on or off audible vitals
as a patient is on the reading summary screen. Enabling this feature allows
patients to hear their reading summary in addition to seeing it. This may be helpful
for patients with impaired vision, or additional needs.
Setting the Vitals Collection Notification Volume
The Genesis Touch allows you to set the volume for the spoken vital collection noti-
fication. This is useful to ensure the volume will always be at a set level if patients
are prone to adjusting the volume of their monitor. A louder volume for notifica-
tions may also help patients hear when their device turns on.
To set the volume for vitals collection notification:
