In the examples below, the Recent Apps key has been pressed, or the Home key
has accidentally been held down for longer than a few seconds.
Select the Return / Back key to return to the Genesis Touch monitor screen.
Unpin the Navigation Menu (A5 Monitors)
Genesis Touch monitors, with a serial number beginning with A5, utilize the
Android™ Operating System 8.1, and display a white menu bar on the bottom of the
screen when swiping up from the bottom of the monitor screen. During normal
patient use, this menu is overridden by Genesis Touch software settings by design,
and cannot be used by patients.
However, a care provider accessing settings on the Genesis Touch may see this
navigation menu and accidentally pin the bar to the bottom of the screen. If the
menu shown below is persistently displayed over a patient-facing menu, tap the
dot in the lower left corner of the screen to unpin it.
