Purpose of this Document
This document is intended for the person installing and setting up the Genesis
Touch monitor and peripheral medical devices. It is not intended for patients.
Inspecting Equipment
Always inspect the monitor and accessories for damage or improper setup when in
use. Check for the following examples:
If there is a frayed power cord, unplug the unit and replace the cord. The USB power
extension cable (optional) may be removed, and the monitor power cord may be
directly plugged into its original power adapter while a replacement is ordered.
If a monitor has been dropped or damaged, call Customer Service. Qualified ser-
vice personnel must inspect any dropped or damaged units before they are
assigned for use.

Power cord is not frayed or connected to unauthorized equipment.
Cables are properly attached and in good condition.
Monitor is not standing in or near water.
Monitor has not been moved to an unsuitable location.
