Weekly Scheduling

Care providers schedule vital sign measurement acquisition and questions from
LifeStream in order to manage schedules, utilize preset configurations or build and
assign an Advanced Schedule.
A simple repeating weekly schedule may also be set from the monitor manually if
needed. Three types of schedules may be set up from the monitor:
When you create a schedule on the monitor, you first set up the patient's overall
schedule of days and times for vital signs acquisition. This tells the monitor when
to turn on to collect a reading.
Then, if necessary, you can modify the schedule to set up specific days and times
when measurements from each peripheral device or patient-entered reading may
be collected.
Note: Weekly schedules created at the monitor may be overridden if an Advanced Schedule
is assigned to the patient's monitor from LifeStream. Always check for a configuration
from LifeStream prior to setting a schedule from the monitor.

Setting the Reading Schedule

This is the first schedule to set if you are scheduling when the monitor will turn on
to collect a vital sign measurement and any scheduled questions. A schedule may
be set up to four scheduled reading times each day.
These settings may be remotely managed in LifeStream by a clinician. Before pro-
ceeding, always retrieve a monitor configuration from the Status menu and check
with the patient's assigned LifeStream clinician.
To configure the patient's overall schedule:
1. From Settings, select General Settings.
2. Enter 4237 and select Forward
