TAKING VITAL SIGN
MEASUREMENTS
Vitals Now
After all peripherals have been added to the Peripherals menu, a vital signs mea-
surement may be initiated from the Vitals Now / Home menu. Patients may take
vital sign measurements at any time without having to wait for the scheduled
report time. This data may be optionally sent to a clinician as instructed, and/or the
process of taking vital signs measurement may be used for self measurement.
To take vital signs manually, a patient may have to touch the screen first to wake up
the device. The Vitals Now / Home screen appears, and a patient selects Vitals Now
to begin.:
1. Tap Vitals Now (

become highlighted in the Select Vitals menu.
