BASIC SCHEDULING

Remote Configuration Retrieval

The Genesis Touch can be configured for patient use from LifeStream (recom-
mended) as well as from the monitor. When placing a monitor in the home, it is rec-
ommended to retrieve a configuration first, before changing any settings on the
monitor. To do this quickly, utilize the Status menu:
1. From the Settings Window, select the Status button.
2. From the Status menu, scroll down using the arrows on the left side of the
screen if needed.
3. Select the Retrieve Configuration button
4. The Genesis Touch will check for any configuration updates from LifeStream
and apply them.
5. Once you are finished, select the Back button
Synchronizing Genesis Touch Settings
The following scheduling configurations are accessible from the General Settings
menu of LifeStream.
Whenever you attempt to exit the General Settings screen, you may be prompted to
sync with LifeStream. If you answer Yes to this question, the manual configura-
tions you made on the monitor will be uploaded to LifeStream so that the monitor
and LifeStream are in synchronization.
If you change settings on the monitor prior to retrieving configurations from
LifeStream it will overwrite any pending configurations in LifeStream. If you do not
want the configuration from the monitor to overwrite the pending LifeStream con-
figuration, you must answer No to this question.
