Using the A&D 321PBT Scale
When the monitor begins the process of acquiring weight, a screen similar to the
following appears:
A patient will press the power button on the front of the scale. The Genesis Touch
will display a message that it is Acquiring data, please wait...
A patient should look down at the scale display. When 0.0 appears on the scale, a
patient should step on the scale. When the monitor acquires a reading, a reading is
displayed and the monitor will ask the patient to step off of the scale.
Using the A&D 355PBT-Ci Scale
When the monitor begins the process of acquiring weight, a screen similar to the
following appears:
A patient should step on the scale and look down at the
scale display.
The patient will hear a beep and see a series of dashes
appears, indicating that the weight will be recorded when
all of the dashes are black.
Note: If a patient steps off the scale accidentally at this time, they should wait for the display
on the scale to turn off before stepping back onto the scale.
