Airplane mode should be off. Follow number 2 through 4 in
Section 4-6 to access the Settings menu. Look for Airplane
Mode in the settings list and tap the corresponding ON button
to turn the mode off. Confirm your selection in the window that
pops up.
To return to the Advanced Settings menu, continuously tap the
Return key on your monitor.
Follow directions in this section to access the Android settings
menu. Look for Bluetooth® in the settings list and tap the
corresponding OFF button to turn Bluetooth® back on.
To return to the Advanced Settings menu, continuously tap the
Return key on your monitor.
Cellular: If a "Verizon Wireless" is NOT shown, or "Disconnected"
is shown, contact Customer Service. When calling, note if a "4G"
icon is displayed on this screen.
Wi-Fi: Follow the instructions in this manual to turn on the Wi-Fi
connection. If Wi-Fi is enabled, confirm that a name of the
network appears in this menu, along with signal bars. Make sure
the monitor is plugged in and position the monitor near the
wireless router. Confirm the Internet modem and wireless router
are both plugged in and functional. Check that the network you
are connected to has Internet access and that network security
is not blocking a connection.
Internet: Scroll down in the Status Screen to see this option. If
"Disconnected" is listed, this indicates the monitor is unable to
communicate with LifeStream. Follow directions in this section
to access the Android settings menu to check for a signal.
Remote Configuration: Scroll down to see this option. Tap the
arrow to receive a remote configuration from LifeStream prior to
making monitor settings changes; or to overwrite manual
settings (although this overwrites only the monitor settings that
are also manually set). When the Internet indicator is
disconnected, this button will also be gray, indicating a
connection to LifeStream is not available.
