May I configure a 24-hour clock for
patients to use?
I used the Send Test Vitals button, but I
can't see that a test vital has been
retrieved by LifeStream.
Does the "Connection:" indicator in the
LifeStream menu change in real time?
A white menu bar persists, on the
bottom of the Genesis Touch screen.

The Genesis Touch is programmed to use a 12-hour clock on
patient-facing interfaces. It is recommended to always use
automatic Date & Time Settings, unless a 24-hour clock is
necessary by the clinician setting up the Genesis Touch.
It may take up to 15 minutes for LifeStream to display the
test vital. If you are in the process of testing functionality,
contact Customer Service for a quick check of all functions.
For quicker access to verify a connection, utilize the Status
Screen, accessible without a password.
To refresh the LifeStream menu, exit the LifeStream menu,
and select the menu again to see if the connection status
has updated.
Genesis Touch monitors, with a serial number beginning
with A5, use the Android™ Operating System 8.1, featuring
the ability to pin the Android Menu Bar to the bottom of the
tablet permanently. If you see this menu bar, tap the small
dot in the left lower corder of the tablet screen to unpin the
menu bar.
This Android menu is only displayed after accessing a
password-protected screen in the Genesis Touch, and it will
only persist into patient-facing screens, if a user taps the pin
button in the lower left corner of the screen.
