5. Image Quality Problem: Lines
• White spots

Glossy Lines at the Edge of the Paper

A glossy line appears in parallel to the paper feed direction. This may occur on solid-fill images.
Cause:
There is a trace (streak) of the paper edge on the fusing belt.
Solution:
1.
In the 05: [Machine: Maintenance] group on the [Adjustment Settings for Skilled
Operators] menu, select 0507: [Smooth Fusing Belt] and execute [For Belt Scratches].
2.
Print the image. Has the problem been resolved?
Yes
Finished!

Repeat Step 1 to 2. If the problem persists, contact your service representative.

Oblique Wavy Streaks

Creases occur at the center of the paper and not in areas within 130 mm (5.2 inches) from the leading
or trailing edge of the paper.
