LUBRICATION

Recommendations

Always use a good quality multi-purpose/ lithium base
grease when lubricating the equipment.
• Always use a hand-held grease gun.
• Clean fitting before greasing, to avoid injecting dirt
and grit.
• Replace and repair broken fittings immediately.
• If fittings will not take grease, remove and clean
thoroughly. Replace fitting if necessary.

Greasing Requirements

wings pivots. Grease every 8 hours of operation.

at each axle hub. Grease every 50 hours of operation.

Non-greaseable Bearing Points:

• Blade mounting bearings do not require greasing.
• Rockshaft bearings with liners do not require greasing
(rear attachment rockshafts, wing rockshafts and
hitch frame rockshafts).
• Cage Roller bearings (if selected) do not require
greasing.
• Hydraulic cylinder pin holes contain hardened
bushings and do not require greasing.
