15.3.

Starting for the first time

15.3.1.
When the installation of the software has been completed, you will see the Server
icon in the program group 'Voltech Software'. Double-click this icon with the left
mouse button to start the program. The first time the program runs it will show the
communications configuration screen.
Note: On some Operating Systems, it may be necessary to run the Server
software as an administrator. Right click on the shortcut > Run as Administrator.
For full details of the communications configuration, please see section 15.4.1.
The check box 'Do not display this dialogue at Startup' exists to prevent it from
being displayed each time the Server application is launched. When this option is
activated, this dialogue box can be accessed via the 'Setup', 'Communications...'
menu.
15.3.2.
Before starting to use the software, it is recommended to configure some of the
options. Section 15.4 provides a step-by-step instruction to configure the Server
software for proper operation.
