11.5.8.10 Rear Window Replacement (Sedan)

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the battery
2.11.8.1 Battery Disconnection.
2. Remove the left / right rear upper quarter panel. Refer to
12.9.1.5 Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement
(Sedan).
3. Remove the rear parcel shelf. Refer to
Parcel Shelf Replacement
4. Disconnect the rear window defroster electrical connector
(1).
5. Cut the rear window glass adhesive with a thin steel wire.
Note
Wrap both end of the fine steel wire around a wood
handle, operate by with two people to facilitate the
removal.
6. Remove the rear window glass from the rear window
frame.
Note
It takes two people to complete this step.
