Installation Procedure:
1. Install and tighten the reverse switch (1).
Torque: 40 Nm (Metric) 30 lb-ft (US English)
2. Connect the reverse switch harness connector 2.
3. Connect the battery negative cable.

11.4.8.17 Brake Lamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure
Warning!
Refer to "Battery Disconnect Warning" in "Warnings and
Notices".
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to
2.11.8.1 Battery Disconnection.
2. Disconnect the brake lamp switch wiring harness
connector (1).
3. Release the locking nut, loose and remove the switch from
the brake pedal bracket (2).
