Controls a content video source. It can also register or unregister the API session to receive notification of
content events.
Syntax
vcbutton play {1..6}
vcbutton <get|stop|register|unregister>
vcbutton map <get|{1..6}>
vcbutton source get
Parameter Description
Returns the current setting (play or stop).
get
Starts sending the content from the specified
play
content video source. If no content video
source is specified, starts sending content from
the default content video source. Starts content
from any content video source without the
need to change source mapping and without
needing to stop the currently playing content
video source. Fails and does not stop the
current content video source if the specified
content video source is not valid. Stops the
current content video source if the specified
content video source is valid but is currently
unavailable.
Specifies a content video source. 5 is not
{1..6}
supported.
Stops sending content from the content video

source that is currently playing.
Registers the API session to receive
register
notifications about content events.
Unregisters the API session to receive
unregister
notifications about content events.
Gets the content video source currently
map get
specified for control.
Specifies the content video source to control.
map {1..6}
Note: This parameter is only necessary if no
video source was specified when using the
vcbutton play command. 5 is not supported.
Gets the content video source that is currently
