echoreply

Gets or sets the system's ability to send an Echo Reply message in response to an Echo Request message
sent to an IPv4 multicast/anycast address.
Syntax
echoreply <get|yes|no>
Parameter
Description
Returns the current setting.
get
Enables the echo reply option.
yes
Disables the echo reply option.
no

Limitations
None
Comments
The number of responses may be traffic-conditioned to limit the effect of a denial of service attack.
You must restart the system after making a change to a setting.
