4.3.6 Parameterisation via a user program (explicit messaging)

4-16
Depending on the DIL switch setting, the inputs and outputs
hold the last state or reset to the basic state
The selected setting applies for all outputs. (Factory setting:
"reset").
Idle mode is assumed by the network participants when this
is requested by the controller or scanner. The controller is
then in stop mode.
Depending on the DIL switch setting, the outputs hold the last
state or reset to the basic state
The inputs of the network participants continue to be trans-
ferred to idle state mode.
The selected setting applies for all inputs and outputs and is
coupled to the setting for the fail state mode. (Factory setting:
"reset").
Parameter values can also be read and written by the control-
ler. To do so, communicate and program via "Explicit Mes-
sage". The required parameter values are specified in a user
program.
For this parameterisation method, you require device-specific
parameter objects and/or the corresponding object descrip-
tions
Tab. 4/16 and Tab. 4/17. Note that these tables spe-
cify only the frames for using parameterisation via explicit
messaging.
Detailed object descriptions and addresses of the DeviceNet
object model can be found in
Tab. 2/7.
