2. Select [CHART ALIGN] with the scrollwheel, then press the left button.
[CHART ALIGN] function is set as a cursor function and a

How to select the chart type

Four types of charts are available.
1. Press the MENU key to open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [CHART], then press the left button.
3. Select [CHANGE CHART], then press the left button.
4. Select either of the following charts, then press the left button.
[VECTOR]: Navigational chart (data by FURUNO).
[FISHING]: Fishing chart that shows detailed depth contours.
[C-MAP]: Select this when installing C-MAP chart data.
[NAVIONICS]: Select this when installing Navionics chart data.
5. Close the menu.
Note: Depth contours for [FISHING] are drawn differently from navigational chart data
(bathymetric chart data). Fishing chart does not have the latest shallow information,
so select [VECTOR] when sailing into/out of port or sailing coast.

Chart settings menu

Below is the explanation about the each item of [CHART SETTINGS].
1. Press the MENU key to open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [CHART], then press the left button.
3. Select [CHART SETTINGS], then press the left
button.
[CHART SETTINGS] menu has below four pag-
es.
4. Select a menu item to change the settings, then
press the left button.
5. Change the settings, then press the left button.
6. Close the menu after changing the settings.
The description for each item is shown as below.
[CONTOUR DISPLAY]: Selects color for land
from 17 colors.
[TRIMMING BORDER LINE]: Selects color for
edge from 17 colors.
[BACKGROUND COLOR]: Selects color for
background from 17 colors. Change the back-
ground color when targets and chart lines are
hard to see.
[CHART (IMPORTANT)]: Turns important text on or off.
