Alerts Regarding the Plotter

5.7.1

How to set the arrival, anchor watch alert

The arrival alert informs you that your vessel is approaching a destination waypoint
The area that defines an arrival zone is that of a circle which you approach from the
outside of the circle. The alert will be released if your vessel enters the circle. When
the arrival alert is active, a red dashed circle marks the arrival alert range.
The anchor watch alarm informs you that your vessel is moving when it should be at
rest. When the anchor watch is active, a orange dashed circle marks the anchor watch
area.
1. Press the MENU key to open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ALERT SETTINGS], then press the
left button.
3. Select [ARRIVAL/ANCHOR ALERT], then
press the left button.
4. Select [ARRIVAL ALERT] or [ANCHOR
WATCH ALERT], then press the left button.
5. Select [ON], then press the left button.
Cursor moves to the value of [ALERT RANGE]
of [ARRIVAL ALERT] or [ANCHOR WATCH
ALERT].
6. Rotate the scrollwheel to set the range, then
press the left button.
7. Close the menu.
8. To set the anchor watch alert, move the cursor
to the own ship or another ship near the own ship, then press GO TO key.
The orange dashed circle showing the alert area appears. The alert sounds when
your vessel goes out of this area.
