The power connection of the HEIDENHAIN asynchronous motors QAN 30 and
QAN 4S is made via a terminal box. The connections for the fan are also to be
found in the terminal box. See "Connecting the Fan" on page 7–35.

They only serve the purpose of leading the temperature sensors lines
through the motor.
