VARIANTS

All LD6 on software version 101 are supplied with a NovAtel OEM615 GNSS receiver card
fitted are capable of providing a corrected solution in NMEA format. NovAtel OEM615
GNSS cards are delivered with GPS and GLONASS tracking permissions meaning any
LD6's will be capable of computing GPS+GLONASS solutions (provided the LD6 is enabled
on an appropriate VERIPOS service).
Variants with an MF module installed allow the LD6 to be capable of receiving third party
corrections directly from local reference stations (where available).
Variants with UHF module where used, allow the LD6 to receive corrections by UHF
broadcast where available.
The diagram below shows details the available LD6 variants. This manual covers the
use of the 'B' variant.
An on-screen icon for each receiver card will only be shown when the LD6 has that
particular receiver card installed.
For further information regarding the NovAtel OEM 615 capabilities and guidance on
checking the model of GNSS card fitted, please refer to Section 2.6.1.
