Once the fade is complete, the <CUT> button lights, indicating the
Over is on-air.

Taking an audio-over from air

It is possible to take an audio-over from air at any time.
If the <CUT> button is not lit, the currently selected Over input is
already off-air.
If the yellow <FOLLOW> button is flashing, the selected Over input is
set to follow the next audio or DVE transition (section 6.6). This is
cancelled if the Over is manually taken from air.
The method of taking an Over from air is independent of the way it was
taken to air.
To take an over off-air

Press the OVER <CUT> button.
The Over is cut from air and the <CUT> button lamp goes off.
To fade an over off-air
1
Press the OVER <FADE> button.
The Over fades off, and PGM fades back to full level. Once the
Over is off-air the <CUT> button lamp goes off.
