10 Using the TX 410 with automation

The TX 410 is designed to facilitate simple integration with a wide range
of station automation systems, like Pro-Bel's Sextant and Compass
Systems.
A single button on the TX 410, <AUTO ON>, controls connection to the
automation system. The automation control section is located in the top
left of the panel and provides full manual intervention panel (MIP)
control for the automation system (See Automation system handbook)
. The <HOLD> (see section 3.7) and <STBY> buttons (see section 2.12)
are also part of this group of buttons.
If there is an automation system connected to the TX 410, it can control
these functions:
PST source selection.
Transition type and rate.
DSK, DVE and audio-over.
Note: The above functions are specific to Pro-Bel's Compass or Sextant
systems and are not necessarily applicable if the TX 410 is under
control from other automation systems.
These buttons are inoperative if not connected to an automation
system.
