17 Using multi-channel control

The TX 410 has the ability to control up to six channels from a single
panel if required. This is achieved by using the row of buttons in the
top left of the panel.
The <ASSIGN> button is used to enable/disable channel selection
buttons 1 to 6 and is lit when active.
Channel push buttons are only active when the <ASSIGN> button is
active. Pressing any channel button will assign the panel to control the
corresponding channel; if it is not already being controlled then the
channel button will light. If however the panel is already controlling the
selected channel, then it will stop controlling it and the channel button
will be extinguished.
Pressing a channel button while the <ASSIGN> button is has no effect
on channel assignment.
Note: Once selected, the channel button will remain lit if
communications with the mainframe is valid; otherwise it will flash
indicating that communications have been lost. If only one channel is
being controlled, the panel will go into reset mode until
communications are restored or the channel deselected.
CAUTION: If the flashing channel button is pressed, the light will
be extinguished even if communications with the controller have
not been restored. It will not be possible to select this channel
again until communications have been restored.
