5 Using the DVE

The optional DVE available with the TX 410 provides the ability to
squeeze the PGM output, typically at the end of a programme, and run a
trailer or teaser for the next programme at the same time. It is also
possible to set the DSKs (see chapter 4) and an audio-over (see chapter
6) to follow on/off with the DVE move.
Up to 24 pre-programmed sequences are available and can be recalled
from the control panel. A preview facility allows the selected sequence
to be previewed prior to use.
The DVE button in the bottom right corner of the Home page on the
touchscreen indicates the currently selected DVE sequence, and also
provides access to the DVE Selection page.
Pressing the <Next Page> button selects the next available DVE
selection page. There are three pages of eight sequences (24 available
sequences); Page 1 shows sequences 1-8, page 2 sequences 9-16 and
page 3 sequences 17-24.
The <Home> button returns the display to the home page.
