The TX 520 provides up to four independent downstream keys, DSK1 to DSK4
(see chapter 4). Keys can be cut or faded to air. DSK transitions can also be set to
follow the next video or DVE transition.
All DSK's are fully linear and have separate control of clip and gain, as set up
using the plasma display.

An optional DVE is available for the TX 520 (see chapter 5). This provides up to
24 selectable DVE moves for on screen squeeze effects.

The TX 520 provides powerful audio-over facilities (see chapter 6), using two
controls which determine the programme and over levels when the over is cut or
faded to air:
·
<OVER> controls the gain of the over source.
·
<PGM> sets the level of programme audio to be mixed with the
source.
Any one of four external over sources are available through the TX 520, with each
source having its own settings for <OVER> and <PGM> level.
