SAFETY MEASURES TO TAKE WHEN MANAGING ELECTRICAL / ELECTRONIC PARTS
ATTENTION:
Special care must always be taken in replacing electronic components. Observe closely the instructions below.
•
Read the instructions carefully before proceeding with replacement.
•
Work in an environment with a temperature of 10° to 40° C and relative humidity of
approximately 60%.
•
The workbench must be clean, free of foreign bodies and covered in shockproof material.
•
Do not use compressed air.
•
Do not work with wet or greasy hands.
•
Ensure there are no static charges.

UTTER REPLACEMENT
1) turn the machine off and unplug it.
2) remove the cutter protective shield (i) by loosening the screw (i2).
3) slide the cutter release rod (X) into the hole located on the left side of the machines cutter shaft chassis (fig. 45).
4) loosen the cutter locking nut (turning it clockwise) with the19 mm socket wrench (X1) provided with the machine.
ATTENTION:
5) replace the cutter, then tighten the nut (turning it counter-clockwise) and remove the rod from its hole.
6) place the cutters protective shield (i) back into position securing it with the screw (i2).

these operations must be carried out by trained qualified personnel.
the thread is left-handed (reversed.
when replacing a worn cutter with a new one or with a re-sharpened cutter consult 5.7 "GAUGING".
