6. DRIVE SYSTEM
Drive Shaft Boot Installation
▪ For installation, reverse the removal
procedure.
▪ Install new circlip.
▪ Pack bearing area with grease.
NOTE: Do not use or add other grease.
▪ Install new drive shaft clamps.

FRONT DIFFERENTIAL

Front differential Removal
Caution
Be sure the differential set temperature below
35℃
▪ Drain the differential oil.
▪ Remove both drive shafts.
▪ Detach vent hose from front differential.
▪ Remove two drive mode select cables.
▪ Remove bolts and nuts securing the
differential.
▪ Lift up the differential and slide forward to
detach from the propeller shaft.
▪ Remove the front differential by pulling it from
the RH side.
NOTICE: Be careful not to knock or to bend
vent hose fitting while removing front
differential.
