Drive Gear Installation

▪ For installation, reverse the removal
procedure.
▪ Adequately oil the ball bearing of the breather
gear.
CRANKCASE

Crankcase Disassembly

1. Drain the following system:
1.1 Cooling system
1.2 Engine oil.
1.3 Gearbox oil.
2. Lock crankshaft.
3. Remove the following parts:
- CVT cover.
- Drive Pulley.
- Driven Pulley.
- CVT air guide.
4. Remove the engine from vehicle.
5. Disconnect gearbox from engine.
6. Remove the following parts:
- ACG cover.
- Rotor with starting clutch gear.
- Starter drive gears.
7. Remove the following parts:
- CVT vent backboard cover.
- Drive gears.
8. Remove the following parts:
- Chain tensioners.
- Camshaft timing gears.
- Timing chains.
- Timing chain guides.
9. Remove the following parts:
- Front cylinder head.
- Rear cylinder head.
- Both cylinders.
10. Remove the following parts:
- Water pump housing.
