a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
5. Do one of the following:
a. Extend the server from the rack (Extend the server from the rack on page 24).
b. Remove the server from the rack (Remove the server from the rack on page 25).
6. Remove the access panel (Remove the access panel on page 25).
7. Remove the primary PCI riser cage (Removing the primary PCI riser cage on page 27).
8. Install the GPU in the x16 slot in the primary PCI riser cage position.
9. If installing a GPU requiring greater than 75 W, connect the power cable to the primary riser power
connector.
10. Install the GPU support bracket.
11. Install the riser cage (Install the primary PCI riser cage on page 27).
12. Install the access panel (Installing the access panel on page 25).
13. Install the server in the rack.
14. Connect each power cord to the server.
15. Connect each power cord to the power source.
16. Power up the server (Powering up the server on page 24).
