Restricting New Addresses

This mode enables you to restrict the entering of new addresses. When you set Restrict New
Addresses to 'On', all the keys in [New Address] on the Send Basic Features screen, except for
[Store in Usr Inbox] and [Send to Myself], are grayed out so that they cannot be selected.
Setting this mode with an address book password enables only the following to be specified as
destinations:
•
Destinations stored in the Address Book
•
Destinations obtained via LDAP servers
•
User Inboxes
•
Destinations obtained by pressing one-touch buttons
•
Destinations obtained by pressing favorites buttons
•
E-mail addresses obtained by pressing [Send to Myself]
IMPORTANT
• If Restrict New Addresses is set to 'On', you cannot edit the following destinations:
- Destinations obtained via LDAP servers
- Destinations obtained by pressing favorites buttons
- E-mail addresses obtained by pressing [Send to Myself]
- Destinations of a job that is cancelled because of transmission errors, or a job that is waiting to be sent
with the Delayed Send mode
• If Restrict New Addresses is set to 'On', all stored settings in the Recall mode are erased.

➞ [System Manager Settings] ➞ [Restrict the Send Function]
Press
➞ [Restrict New Addresses].
Select [On] or [Off] ➞ press [OK].
