Restricting use of the fax

Use the lock feature of the fax to prevent unauthorised use of the fax.
To restrict access to the LOCK PHONE setting, you need to register a password. Set the password
and LOCK PHONE setting as explained below.

Follow the procedure below to restrict use of the fax.

Press [Function].
Press [Registration].

Press [Start/Copy].

Use [ 1] or [ 2] to select SYSTEM SETTINGS.
Press [Start/Copy].

Press [Start/Copy] twice.
PASSWORD appears on the LCD.

Enter a four-digit access password using the
numeric buttons.
Press [Start/Copy] twice.
