Storing Received Fax Documents in Memory

You can set the machine to store received fax documents in memory without printing them.
This is referred to as Fax Memory Lock. You can later check the received documents in the
Memory RX Inbox, and print or send them.

Communications Settings
Press [Confirm] ➞ re-enter the password for confirmation using
(numeric keys) ➞ press [OK] ➞ [OK].

If you do not want to set the Memory RX Inbox with a password, press [OK] without entering
any numbers.
You cannot store a password with only zeros as the number, such as <0000000>.
If you enter a number that begins with zeros, the leading zeros are ignored.
Example: If <02> or <002> is entered, <0000002> is stored.
NOTE
If Use Asterisks to Enter Access No./Passwords in System Settings (from the Additional
Functions screen) is set to 'Off', the password that you entered is not displayed as asterisks.

➞ [System Settings] ➞ [Communications Settings] ➞
Press
[Memory RX Inbox Settings] ➞ [Use Fax Memory Lock].
Select [On] or [Off] ➞ press [OK].
IMPORTANT
If the message <Fax Memory RX is on.> does not appear, set the Fax Memory Lock setting on
the Memory RX Inbox screen from the Inbox Selection screen of the Mail Box function to 'On'.
