Overview of the CLC5151/CLC4040/iR C4580i/iR
C4080i
If you press [Send], the Send Basic Features screen appears. The Send function enables you to
scan documents and send them to specified destinations via fax, e-mail, or I-fax, save them to a
file server, or store them in an inbox to process them at a later date. You can also send
documents to multiple destinations simultaneously using various sending methods, such as
e-mail and I-fax.
The function key for the sending and fax functions on top of the basic features screen varies,
depending on the installed options, as follows:
If only the Color Universal Send Kit
(standard-equipped for the iR C4580i/iR C4080i)
is activated, it is displayed as [Send].
If the Color Universal Send Kit (standard-equipped for
the iR C4580i/iR C4080i) is activated and the optional
Super G3 FAX Board is installed, it is displayed as
[Send].
IMPORTANT
You can use the Send and Fax functions of CLC5151/CLC4040/iR C4580i/iR C4080i only if the optional
Color Image Reader-F1 or Color Image Reader-E1 is attached.
If only the optional Super G3 FAX Board is installed,
it is displayed as [Fax].
