Viewing Operator Status Displays

Press the MENU button once and the operator status displays appear in two second intervals. Pertinent
information appears to provide a quick overview of the operator's status or configurations. Refer to Figure 3-6.

The software version and revision
number are hard-coded in the Smart
DC Controller.

operator is used in bi-parting gate
systems.)
OT 15 = SlideSmart DC 15 at 1ft/s
OT 16 = SlideSmart DC 10F at 2ft/s
LEFT or RIGHT

Note: OT 16 only accepts Usage Class
3 and 4.
0 = 8Ah (standard factory issue)
1 = 50Ah (optional upgrade)
2 = 110Ah (option)
Number varies depending on the
voltage that the charger is providing.
One cycle equals a full open and close
sequence. Partial cycles are not
counted.

Variables
Displays the actual charging voltage.
Displays the number of cycles the gate
operator has incurred. Similar to an
odometer, it resets to zero after
999,999 cycles.
Note: You can also access the Installer
User Menu. Menu from this display. See
Menu. Displays the number of
seconds before the open gate initiates
Description
Displays the software version when
you press RESET or cycle power. You
will need the software version when
calling Technical Support.
Indicates, in a dual gate setting,
whether the operator is set to Master
or Slave. The setting is assigned in the
Installer Menu.
Indicates and identifies the operator
and charger type.
Designates which way a gate opens
viewed from the operator. If it slides
to the left, it is a left-hand gate. Gate
handing is established in the initial
Setup Menu.
Displays the operator's Usage Class
designation per UL 325 standards.
Refer to Identifying Gate Operator
Category and Usage Class.
Confirms the operator's battery type.
If you use to the larger capacity
batteries you must configure the
operator through the Installer Menu.
