Alarm Type
Per Alarm Number (1 ~ 100)
specify an alarm type. If an
alarm is set to "Not Set" then
NO alarm information will be
generated.
If an alarm is set to "Major
Alarm" or "Minor Alarm" then
alarm data will be presented
when an error occurs. The
alarm report will be labeled with
the "Major Alarm" or "Minor
Alarm" tag in the report.
The following Alarms are
suggested when
troubleshooting an SL Net
network:
Alarm 15 – Network Keep Alive
Alarm 17 – Denial of Service
Attack
Alarm 57 – IP Address
Collision (Duplicate IP
Assignment)
Alarm 59 – SL Net port count
exceeded
Alarm 64 – VoIPDB LAN link
error
Alarm 65 – VoIPDB trouble
information
Alarm 68 - VoIPDB DSP all
Busy
Assigned Data
0 = Not Set
(No Alarm Generated)
1 = Major Alarm
2 = Minor Alarm
Default Alarm Settings
Alarm 15 = 0
Alarm 17 = 1
Alarm 57 = 2
Alarm 59 = 2
Alarm 64 = 1
Alarm 65 = 0
Alarm 68 = 2
(Refer to the SL1100 programming manual for
the default values of all Alarms)
