4.2.8 Attaching a Ferrite Core

A ferrite core must be attached when an RJ45 connector is connected to the SLC2/PRI23 card.

For the SLC2/PRI23 Cards

For the cable to connect to the ISDN Primary Rate Interface port, wrap the cable once around the ferrite core,

then close the case of the ferrite core. Attach the ferrite core 5 cm (2 in) away from the connector. The ferrite

core is included with the card.
