*4 The maximum number of extension ports on any one PBX is 640. However, on the Master unit in a One-look network, adding additional
UM ports reduces this maximum by 10 extensions per additional UM port. Therefore, if all UM ports are activated (28 additional ports,
not counting the initial 2 ports), the maximum number of extensions available at the Master unit becomes 360. This condition does
not apply to Slave units.
*5 To install more than 512 DPTs, additional DPTs must be connected via a Digital XDP connection.
Maximum CO Lines and Extensions for KX-NS700 Slave Units
The maximum number of CO lines and extensions supported by each type of PBX is the same as when the
unit is used as a standalone unit. For details, refer to the Installation Manual of the corresponding PBX.
