RAP 3.1: Paper Feed

See Parts List 2.1 and 3.1.
If media is simply passing through the
printer without stopping, go to RAP 3.5:
Paper Path Sensor on page 2-21.
1. Check for a loose or damaged
ribbon cables from main board
connectors CN10 and CN4 to the
printer interface PWB (Figure 2-4).

Result: Cable and connections
appear good?
No: Reconnect the cable, or replace as
required.
Yes: Continue with Step 2.

2. Check for a loose or damaged wire harness from the printer
interface board to the paper feed motor (Figure 2-5).
Result: Harness and connections appear good?

No: Reconnect the wire harness, or replace as required.
Yes: Continue with Step 3.
3. Check for a loose or damaged wire harness from the
printer interface PWB to the paper feed sensor.
Result: Harness and connections appear good?
No: Reconnect the wire harness, or replace as required.
Yes: Continue with Step 4.
